On the final day of the IUFRO congress in Stockholm, both Sarah and Kaisa (alumni)  presented conferences on the theme of Urban green against air pollution and climate change, while Alain presented a poster on tree diversity and ecosystem functioning.

Sarah shared an innovative approach she developed for faster and more accurate identification of specific types of pollen. Kaisa presented her latest findings on urban tree BVOC emissions, based on sampled trees from Montreal and Helsinki. In under 3 minutes, Alain presented Jon's (alumni) work about fourteen years of research on the effect of diversity on trees from the IDENT-Montreal experiment!
