Rita Sousa-Silva (former postdoc) gave a brilliant presentation on urban forests and climate resilience at the IV Fórum Catarinense de Arborização Urbana in Joinville, Santa Catarina state, southern Brazil. In attendance, was another PaqLab alumni - Raquel Kanieski (visiting professor). These two amazing women in science were a privilege to have in the lab and we are thrilled to see them continuing to make connections with like-minded people across the globe.
