Natali joins the PaqLab for a 6 month international internship
Natali is a Colombian master’s student interested in plant ecophysiology, hydraulic functional traits and drought resistance. She’s currently working with functional traits that describe the growth strategies of tropical dry forest plants, in order to quantify their resistance to drought represented by survival in a dry forest ecological restoration project.
Natali is joining the lab for a 6-month research internship to work on the second chapter of her master’s thesis, focusing on the use of carbon stable isotopes to assess the water efficiency of different species in drought conditions. She will also be integrating the idea of functional traits to evaluate this relationship, hence her internship with the PaqLab. We are excited to collaborate with her on this exciting project – welcome to the PaqLab Natali!
