As Montreal’s latest heat wave subsides, Johana has been hard at work collecting temperature data both day and night! To better understand how temperature is felt and distributed in urban areas, Johanna is not only taking measurements in the height of the day but also in the dead of night. Here we see Johanna fearlessly riding through downtown Montreal past midnight on her specially outfitted bike.
