Since I started my internship at the CEF in 2019, I have acquired an interest in urban forestry and a newfound appreciation for trees. This experience led me further into the field and provided me with opportunities to add to my professional profile. As a technical support at the CEF, I have the opportunity to assist master's students and coordinate field projects.

I am interested in applying my knowledge to contribute to research in which I could work with scientific equipment and computer software which will be useful later in my career as an environmental technician (Graduated, Vanier College). The academic environment at the CEF motivated me to pursue a higher education in university where I will be doing a bachelor's in environmental biology specializing in applied ecology.
