Welcome Sarah! Bienvenue Sarah!
As part of her internship with the PaqLab, she is trying to determine how tree species diversity impacts insect herbivory and predation within an urban environment and whether there are differences with respect to location (near a road or a highway, near a natural area, etc.). This work will further the research started here in 2019 using fake caterpillars to study predation rates. Sarah will be with us for a 6 month internship this spring/summer, part of which will be done remotely in France and the rest here in Canada. In the future, she hopes to continue on with a research career focused on the interactions between species in both temperate forests and in agroforestry.
We are very excited to have you join our lab this year. Welcome to the PaqLab family!
