I'm interested in examining how forests have responded to climate change and the potential mitigative avenues that will enable us to lessen climate change's impacts. This includes looking at the promotion and maintenance of tree species diversity in managed forests. My research also seeks to find better ways to measure forests and to leverage existing long-term data sets to help inform future management decisions.
